Apple Forest: Apples One and Two are hanging tough. There seems to be
an occasionaly dusting of white dust on the leaves and a suspicious
clumping where the new leaves sprout. Is this yet another attack on
the Apples?
Peach Forest: The Peachys are doing well. A few gnawings are evident
on some leaves, but the Peachys are starting to toughen up at the
ankles --- some bark is appearing.
Sycamore Forest: All five Sycamore giants are doing fine, albeit with
small height changes both up AND down. With so few leaves, it seems
that a new leaf sprouts upward then relaxes to a lower height, and the
height isn't regained until the next leaf sprouts upward. A few of
the Sycamores seem to be starting so show toughening around the
ankles. Could bark be appearing at a mere handful of centimeters in
height?
The Forest of Pots: All is relatively well in the forest. A pot of
Goblins Eggs (gourd vines) are placed in the forest where the Goblins
and their eggs can hide. We all know that Goblins haunt forests ...
